Family Advenure in the Andes
We love to take families on holidays and we excel at creating fun and interesting itineraries to suit the whole family. We accommodate everyone by combining
conventional visits that suit the adults with adventure for the younger travelers.
Some examples include visiting archaeological sites in alternative ways such as on foot, by bike or on horseback or kayaking in the rainforest and spending time with indigenous communities. Your family will have the support of a team of guides who have expert knowledge of culture, archaeology and botany but who are also gentle, patient and caring with children, and exciting and interesting for teenagers and young adults.
This trip allows the whole family to have a fun and educational experience in one of the loveliest spots on earth, while also learning about the culture, nature and history of Peru and the Andes. This is an activity-filled holiday designed to fit with the requirements of children and teenagers: providing a combination of activities that will be educational but light and interesting. Most days, no more than just three or four hours are spent on serious sightseeing, while leaving plenty of free or activity time for the kids. What is more, we will link the sightseeing options with educational and artistic experiences, such as learning the basics of ancient Andean crafts like weaving and pottery. Cooking classes will be preceded by a visit to the market to learn about local products.
In the rainforest, our guides will unveil the mysteries of the rainforest, providing a unique opportunity to learn about the fragile ecosystems in a way that will stay with the children forever. There are also physical activities such as trekking, riding, cycling or rafting. Also learn to make and fly a kite while at camp, and in the evenings listen to ancient Quechua myths or play games inspired by Inca themes.
