Arrival to Buenos Aires and meet and greet; transfer to your hotel, located in the elegant Recoleta or hip Palermo neighborhood. Afternoon sightseeing to the Plaza de Mayo, La Boca, San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Recoleta and Palermo. Learn about Buenos Aires’ turbulent history, browse antique shops and explore the elaborate mausoleums in the famed Recoleta Cemetery.

Day at leisure to explore the city. This evening transfer to the Faena Hotel + Universe for dinner and a display of the best tango at Rojo Tango. Experience this captivating rhythm in the city where it was born with a live orchestra, dancers and singers. The performance covers tango history from the 1920s onward, and features a five-piece orchestra, two singers and four couples; accompanied by gourmet meal, wine and champagne.

Transfer to domestic airport and check-in assistance for San Carlos de Bariloche flight (one hour). Airport meet and greet; transfer to Peuma Hue Estancia (50 minutes).
The estancia is a peaceful haven nestled deep in the mountains and forests of Patagonia’s Lake District. With the unique advantage of being a ranch, but still relatively close to Bariloche and the international airport, Peuma Hue is able to combine the beauty of its wild surroundings with easy access and the comfort of lovely accommodations. Breathtaking landscapes surround the lodge – rugged slopes, rolling hills, the calm beauty of the lake and green bay, and a verdant valley backdrop.

Full day exploring the charming Villa la Angostura (two hours each way). Located on the northern shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake and less than 100 km from Bariloche, this village is a haven of silent forests and captivating views. Founded in 1932, Angostura means isthmus in Spanish, and the town is on the narrow stretch that makes up the Quetrihue Peninsula, with three peaks and a ski resort for winter visits. Wildflowers are abundant in spring and summer. Activities include visiting the Arrayanes Forest, the Cumelén Country Club, La Asunción Chapel, pioneer homes and a small museum. Lunch is not included, but the guide will arrange for a special meal in town.
Two full days to explore the property and participate in the many activities. The two-mile lakeshore, D’Agostini slope and the Continental Divide Valley offer a varied terrain for hiking to panoramic viewpoints, searching out hidden waterfalls and horseback riding. Paddle on the lake, rappel in the mountains and tyrolean cross a deep canyon. Massages and tango lessons or shows are evening options.

Transfer to Bariloche and check-in assistance for Buenos Aires flight (one hour); transfer from domestic airport to international airport for evening international flight home, or on to other adventures.
