The peaceful city of Morelia, with its wide boulevards and elegant plazas is also the home of the monarch butterfly migration each year from October to March. After a few days relaxing, visiting Mexico’s only national park-Park Eduardo Ruiz which lies within city limits, shopping and relaxing in Morelia, the tour ends in bustling Mexico City. With your guide, you will explore various historical sites including Zocala-the cities impressive Main Square with lavishly designed government building, and the massive Mexican flag proudly stands. You will also visit the Temple Mayor where Aztec artifacts were unearthed, and the Anthropology museum- renowned as one of the finest archeological museums in the world-where numerous exhibits of the mighty Aztec empire are on display.
