Exclusive Journey through Patagonia
An elegant sliver of land skimming the western seaboard of South America, Chile is the longest country in the world, bounded on one side by the great Pacific Ocean, and on the other by the shining cordillera of the Andes. In the midst of this glorious chaos lies one of Chile’s most spectacular national parks, Torres del Paine. Rising 2000 meters from the Patagonian steppe, the majestic granite massifs which give the park its name soar skywards in a geological drama unlike no other in the world.
One common misconception is that Patagonia belongs exclusively to Chile, or that it lies strictly within Argentine borders. In fact, it is a vast region that stretches across both countries, from the Lake District to the Atlantic Ocean,and then south to where land disappears and oceans converge.
Another popular misconception is that Patagonia is inaccessible due to its remoteness and ruggedness. That may have been the case in the past, but is not so any longer as travel is possible by helicopter and jets with numerous airports throughout the region. There are also spectacular luxury hotels with all the comforts one would want, gourmet cuisine and the pampering you desire.
