Journey through Patagonia Itinerary

 

Day 1 - Welcome to Chile

Arrival to Santiago and airport meet and greet; transfer to hotel, followed by a city tour. Visit highlights like La Moneda Presidential Palace, Plaza de Armas, Cerro Santa Lucía, Cerro San Cristóbal and bohemian Bellavista. Learn Chile’s intriguing history and about the turbulent 1970s, explore the founding site on Cerro Santa Lucía, and take the teleférico to Cerro San Cristóbal’s summit for panoramic city views – on clear days you can see to the coast!

Day 2 – To Nomads of the Seas

Airport transfer and check-in assistance for Puerto Montt flight (2-½ hours); airport meet and greet and transfer to your home for the next week – the Atmosphere. This 45.7 meter yacht was designed specifically for the Nomads program, and combines the latest technology with luxury amenities and world-class service. With space for 28 passengers (maximum of 18 anglers) and 32 crew members, the boat offers spacious cabins with panoramic windows, a lounge and dining area and bar for relaxation and socializing.

Days 2-9 – Nomads of the Seas Program

The Nomads of the Seas program offers departures for outdoor adventurers and fly fishing enthusiasts. The Wildlife Adventures option is for adventure and wildlife lovers who want to discover Patagonia. Accompanied by a specialized guide team, you’ll see the region’s natural beauty while participating in activities like whale-watching, horseback riding, jet-boating, airborne sightseeing from the onboard helicopter, river and sea kayaking, rafting and trekking. Guides onboard are biologists and veterinarians who have conducted research in the area and are trained to spot cetaceans, birds and other Patagonian species.

The Ultimate Fly Fishing journey takes dedicated anglers to pristine Patagonian rivers and lakes. With access to remote areas via jet boat, helicopter and zodiac, the angler gets to participate in scouting new locations for fishing. Groups are free to explore sites, some of which have never seen a fishing line. Trophy catches and satisfied anglers are not hard to find with this program.

Day 9 - To Santiago

Airport transfer and check-in assistance for Santiago flight (2-½ hours); depending on flight arrival time, connect with international flight home, or overnight in Santiago.
