Natural Wonders
This trip is a sampler of some of Costa Rica's best natural areas and includes a private naturalist guide throughout. Begin your journey in Monteverde, where you'll explore the cloud forest, home to the rare and stunning Quetzal. Continue on to Arenal, where you'll soak in natural hot springs in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano and walk through the Hanging Bridges Project. You'll float the Peñas Blancas River with your guide and then head to Tortuguero to explore its jungle creeks. Here, you may have the opportunity to see the Atlantic Green Sea Turtle lay her eggs (June-October).
