Day 1
Bienvenidos! Airport pickup and transfer to La Paz on the Sea of Cortes. Check in to.our lovely colonial B&B El Angel Azul. Stroll the streets and dinner on the town of this peaceful seaside city. (No Meals)

Day 2
All day trip to the newly protected island of Espiritu Santo. Hike to view the incredible bays of this newly protected treasure, kayak the coves, and swim with sea lions. Stroll the streets and enjoy the festivities. Evening back in town for a Margarita and dinner.

Day 3
Today we set out across the peninsula to the Pacific Lagoons at Lopez Mateos - considered to be the finest whale-watching area in the La Paz proximity (transfer time is 3.5 hours). Typically within minutes of clambering aboard our motor skiffs we are out in the bay surrounded by Whales. The spectacle is quite amazing and during a 3 hour trip several close up encounters are almost guaranteed. Returning to the shore it is then just a two minute stroll to our accommodation. Relax and then freshen up before dining in our Palapa Restaurant with a buffet of fresh seafood. Overnight in Lopez Mateo Community Cabañas Aquendi B,L,D

Day 4
An early morning whale watching trip to say good-bye to our friendly whales before setting off back across the peninsula to La Paz.. Transfer back to our cozy B&B, El Angel Azul for a night out on the town.

Day 5
Transfer across the peninsula to the Pacific Coast and settle in to the well kept secret Posada la Poza. Row around in the lagoon and walk across the dunes to see the open Pacific. Visit the nearby beach of Los Cerritos and stroll the shore or hike up to view the incredible Baja panorama.

Day 6
Half Day trip to the 3 Waterfalls. Return for lunch and laze by the pool in the afternoon or explore more of the lagoon. Overnight Posada La Poza

Day 7
Relax by the salt water pool, enjoy the outdoor workout area, row on a freshwater lagoon, take bikes into town to explore this charming fishing village / ex-pat artists colony, or beach-comb the miles of secluded beaches. Late evening champagne Star Gazing and Dinner back at the Posada.

Day 8
Departure Day. Transfer to airport for onward flight home or Copper Canyon Extension.
