We cannot believe how lucky we are to have such a caring and energetic person overseeing our sojourn to the islands.&nbsp;The Red Mangrove people made a great effort to see that our stay with them was pleasant and worry free. The hotels were good and the rustic chalets on Floreana were very interesting to say the least.&nbsp;We really enjoyed the relative isolation for the night and the sun rise was terrific on the beach. We cannot adequately express our fascination with various flora and fauna that we a lifetime.<br /><br />Sacha Lodge is very impressive, the location is without equal and the staff excelled in making us feel welcome. Our guide, Jarol, is one of the foremost naturalists in Ecuador and we were impressed with his knowledge of the jungle and his ability to impart this knowledge to us. Testimonials[4]="The hotels in Quito were the best of our trip. We arrived in Quito in the middle of the night due to an airline problem with weather. Needless to say we were more than a bit concerned driving in a strange country at 1 AM and pulling up in front of what looked like a warehouse in the glare of a street lamp, especially with the driver having some difficulty in finding the hotel. However, once the doors opened we could not believe our eyes. The Relicario del Carmen&nbsp;is a genuine little jewel, the refurbishment is without blemish and the whole place is spotless plus the staff were very attentive to our every need.
