At the front gate, guards in shiny SUV's take visitors down a five-mile-long driveway that meanders to the top of a bluff overlooking grasslands, coconut plantations, mangrove swamps, and a river, then heads down past a bridge adorned with a pink crocodile sculpture. La Loma, a 37,342-square-foot affair is capped by an illuminated blue-and-yellow Moorish dome, which glows at night like a cheery, radioactive beacon. Included in La Loma's fee are seven guest cottages tucked into an overgrown knoll with views of the ocean and a dormant volcano. This main villa with the seven cottages fits up to 30 guests - making it ideal for a family reunion or anniversary. Additionally, there are 4 other luxurious and charming villas that fit between 6 and 12 guests. Each little villa is an exercise in pure charm, with more modest variations on the decorative theme -luminous walls, concrete built-in furniture, and white enamel floors.

There are also the cute-as-a-button rental casitas which will guarantee a nature-driven vacation . Just below at a walking distance- is a tiny restaurant open only to guests. . Day Activities:

• Horse Back Riding: For your pleasure, we offer beautiful trails that will lead you on a tour of the ranch. You may choose to ride through harvest of mango, orange and coconut trees; or take romantic guided tour along Playa Cuixmala at sunset. There are also lagoon tours where guests may encounter a few crocodiles so watch your feet!.
  
  Tennis: If you enjoy exercising, we also have available a tennis court. The courts is located near Casa Puma.
• Playa Escondida: playa Escondida is a private beach available for guests to use. This beach is 5.6 km. From the Casitas. Guests may visit this beach via car or by foot (however, it is a long hike traveling by foot!).
• The Lagoons: If you are a nature lover, this is one activity you will not want to miss! We have electric tour boats to take guests on a journey through the local lagoons. While on this tour you will see, crocodiles and a rainbow of exotic birds. The tours run approximately two. And thirty minutes long. 6 people Max.
• Fishing Boat: If you love Fishing, or you want to explore the Bird Island (on the Chamela bay)
• Sailing boat: A 47 foot sailing boat is available for day trips.
