After a few nights in Santiago, journey to Antarctica in a unique air and cruise program that allows travelers to skip the Drake Passage crossing and fly directly to the White Continent of Antarctica for your cruise. Begin your Antarctica adventure with a flight to King George Island, where you’ll board your expedition vessel to begin a four day cruise along the Antarctic Peninsula to visit the stunning landscapes and the best wildlife areas. Explore glacial landscapes, enormous penguin colonies, and go whale and bird watching, with land excursions each day led by professional guides. Cruise between the South Shetland Islands, through ice-filled fjords and between imposing icebergs. Possible destinations, depending on weather, include: Hannah Point, Port Lockroy, Petermann Island, Paradise Bay, Cuverville and Deception Islands. After disembarking in Punta Arenas, head to the outskirts of Torres del Paine National Park from where you will enjoy private guided explorations tailored to your interests and preferred activity level.   • Day 1 - Welcome to Chile! - Santiago

    • You’ll arrive at Santiago airport, where you will be greeted by your guide and taken to your hotel.

    • Enjoy a private guided city tour of Santiago’s highlights, including a drive up San Cristobal Hill.

    • Overnight at The Singular Santiago or similar

  • Day 2 - Day Trip to Valparaiso

    • Today visit Valparaiso with your private guide. Once the most important port in all of South America - full of globetrotting European residents and their riches - this city long served as the continent’s glamorous link to the rest of the world. It is now considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known as a gathering place of local artists, sailors and students.

    • Overnight at The Singular Santiago or similar

  • Day 3- Flight Santiago to Punta Arenas

    • After breakfast this morning, you will be driven to the airport in Santiago in time to catch your flight to Punta Arenas. Check-in assistance provided.

    • Flight Duration: approximately 3H 25M  

    • You’ll arrive at Punta Arenas airport, where you will be greeted by your guide and taken to your hotel.

    • Today you will join a pre-cruise briefing and later enjoy dinner at Jose Nogueira Hotel to meet your expedition mates.

    • Overnight at Hotel Cabo de Hornos or similar

    • Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 4 - Start your expedition to Antarctica

    • Today the Antarctic adventure begins. Fly from Punta Arenas to King George Island (South Shetland Islands), approximately three hours away. Later that day, embark on your ship for the adventure.

    • Cruise between the South Shetland Islands and the western coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, sailing along ice-filled fjords and among spectacular icebergs, while enjoying the company of seabirds, penguins, seals and whales.

    • Overnight at Expedition Vessel

    • Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 5 - Explore Antarctica

    • Each day, disembark by Zodiac and explore the landscape together with expert polar guides. Onboard the ship, attend an engaging program of lectures and presentations, and enjoy spectacular vistas from the glass-enclosed lounge while sharing your daily adventures with fellow guests.

    • Overnight at Expedition Vessel

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 6 - Explore Antarctica

    • Each day, disembark by Zodiac and explore the landscape together with expert polar guides. Onboard the ship, attend an engaging program of lectures and presentations, and enjoy spectacular vistas from the glass-enclosed lounge while sharing your daily adventures with fellow guests.

    • Overnight at Expedition Vessel

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 7 - Explore Antarctica

    • Each day, disembark by Zodiac and explore the landscape together with expert polar guides. Onboard the ship, attend an engaging program of lectures and presentations, and enjoy spectacular vistas from the glass-enclosed lounge while sharing your daily adventures with fellow guests.

    • Overnight at Expedition Vessel

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 8 - Drive from Punta Arenas to Torres del Paine

    • Return to King George Island, where you’ll disembark in Punta Arenas.

    • From there, you will have a private transfer to your hotel outside of Torres del Paine National Park, while enjoying the ever-changing Patagonian landscape (Duration: 5 hours).

    • Overnight at Hotel Awasi Patagonia

    • Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 9 - Explore Torres del Paine

    • Enjoy daily excursions in and around Torres del Paine National Park with your private guide: trekking, soft hiking, scenic 4x4 excursions, wildlife observation, photography tours, horseback riding, and more.

    • Overnight at Hotel Awasi Patagonia

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 10 - Explore Torres del Paine

    • Enjoy daily excursions in and around Torres del Paine National Park with your private guide: trekking, soft hiking, scenic 4x4 excursions, wildlife observation, photography tours, horseback riding, and more.

    • Overnight at Hotel Awasi Patagonia

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 11 - Flight from Punta Arenas to Santiago

    • After breakfast this morning, you will be driven to the airport in Punta Arenas in time to catch your flight to Santiago. On the way, enjoy a short city tour to a lookout point overlooking the city, the Straits of Magellan and a graveyard. Check-in assistance provided.

    • Flight Duration: approximately 3H 25M

    • You’ll arrive at Santiago airport, where you will be greeted by your guide and taken to your hotel.

  • Day 12 -Farewell Chile!

    • After breakfast this morning, you will be driven to the airport in Santiago in time to catch your flight home or on to other adventures. Check-in assistance provided.
