Then we take you deep into the Amazon jungle. Here is where the vast majority of the world's plant and wildlife species resides - species you won't see anywhere else, ever. You can't help but feel you are at the very center of the natural world.

Then it's on to Galapagos to snorkel with sea lions and experience the legendary exotic wildlife and geology that has inspired scientists and naturalists for nearly 200 years.

  • Day 1 - Welcome to Quito!

    • After a meet and greet at the international airport, transfer with your guide to your hotel.

    • Overnight at Hotel Casa Gangotena.

    • No meals included.

  • Day 2 - Andes

    • Drive with your private guide to the Andes north of Quito, with visits en route to local markets and villages. Overnight at a traditional hacienda in the beautiful Andes Highlands.

    • Overnight at Hacienda Zuleta.

    • Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 3 - Andes

    • Excursions around the hacienda like hiking, horseback riding, visits to local villages, and more.  

    • Overnight at Hacienda Zuleta.

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 4 - Quito

    • Return to Quito, stopping on the way for lunch at a hacienda for traditional Ecuadorian cuisine.

    • Overnight at Hotel Casa Gangotena.  

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

  • Day 5 - Amazon

    • After breakfast, Transfer to Quito airport  and check-in assistance for flight to Coca, on the edge of the Amazon.

    • Flight duration 40Ms approximately.

    • Upon arrival transfer to pier to take a motorized canoe down the Napo River and a dugout canoe along a blackwater creek to the lake and lodge. With Rich terra firme rainforest, this area is filled with wildlife, including the golden-mantled tamarin, found only on the on this side of the Napo area. You might even spot a Jaguar or a Tapir! Accommodations are comfortable, and the perfect base for adventures in the jungle with your bilingual guide and local guide.

    • Overnight at 3 nights program at  Selva or Napo lodge.

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Days 6 - Amazon Activities

    • Spend four days in the Amazon, exploring the jungle with a bilingual guide and local guide for the excursions. Activities include visiting a parrot clay lick, night walks, canoe trips, piranha fishing, bird watching, wildlife walks and canopy walks.  From a canopy platform located near the lodge, experience the parallel world of the tree-tops. The 120 foot platform is built within the canopy of a huge, emergent tree and offers spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife.

    • Overnight at  Selva or Napo lodge.

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day  7 - Amazon Activities

    • Spend four days and three nights in the Amazon, exploring the jungle with a bilingual guide and local guide for the excursions. Activities include visiting a parrot clay lick, night walks, canoe trips, piranha fishing, bird watching, wildlife walks and canopy walks.  From a canopy platform located near the lodge, experience the parallel world of the tree-tops. The 120 foot platform is built within the canopy of a huge, emergent tree and offers spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife.

    • Overnight at  Selva or Napo lodge.

  • Day 8 - Quito - City Tour

    • Return to Quito and transfer to hotel.

    • Flight duration 40 minutes approximately.

    • In the afternoon enjoy a panoramic Quito city tour.

    • Overnight at Hotel Casa Gangotena.

    • Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 9 - Galapagos

    • Fly to the Galapagos Islands this morning to begin your land based Island Adventure.

    • Flight to Baltra duration 2 hours approximately.

    • Arrive at Baltra airport, Galapagos. Airport reception and transfer across the Itabaca Channel to your hotel in Puerto Ayora (Santa Cruz Island).

    • Overnight at Pikaia Lodge

    • Meals: Lunch, Dinner

  • Days 10 - Yacht exploration - Galapagos

    • The yacht cruise is a full day program on board our exclusive PIKAIA I Yacht. Overnight at Pikaia Lodge

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 11 - Island Exploration - Galapagos

    • Depending on climate conditions and the season, programs are designed to visit various beaches, volcanic craters, or lava tunnels; look for giant tortoises and endemic wildlife; visit the Charles Darwin Scientific Research Center at the National Park; or visit organic coffee farms in the highlands to see how settlers live.

    • Overnight at Pikaia Lodge

  • Day 12 -  Yacht expeditions - Galapagos

    • The yacht cruise is a full day program on board our exclusive PIKAIA I Yacht.

  • Day 13 - Guayaquil

    • After your last visit, return to the airport for your flight to mainland Ecuador.
