Explore the terraced hillsides, colorful markets, and charming villages of the Sacred Valley of the Inca. Hike the heights of Machu Picchu citadel, and walk Cuzco’s ancient streets, spotting the juxtaposition of the Inca and colonial heritage that makes this city so special.

Then, head north to Ecuador, where you’ll fly to the Galapagos Islands to embark on your cruise through the Enchanted Isles. You’ll have daily activities like hiking through volcanic landscapes, spotting the blue-footed booby doing its mating dance, snorkeling with sea turtles and playful sea lions, and learning about the biological and geological evolution of the islands.

  • Day 1 - Welcome to Lima!

    • After a meet-and-greet at the international airport. You’ll arrive at Lima airport, where you will be greeted by your guide and taken to your hotel in the San Isidro neighborhood.

    • Overnight at Country Club Lima

  • Day 2 - Flight from Lima to Cusco

    • After breakfast this morning, you will be driven to the airport in Lima in time to catch your flight to Cusco. Check-in assistance provided.

    • Flight Duration: approximately 1H 15M  

    • Because of the high altitude, you’ll start your exploration of the area in the lower altitude Sacred Valley.

    • You’ll arrive at Cusco airport, where you will be greeted by your guide and taken to your hotel in sacred Valley. Your guide and driver will take you on a scenic drive to the Valley.

    • Overnight at Hotel Sol y Luna

  • Day 3 - Explore Sacred Valley

    • Full day to explore the fascinating Sacred Valley, home to multiple important Inca archaeological sites like Pisac and Ollantaytambo, as well as impressive agricultural terracing, charming villages, lively markets, and more.

    • Overnight at Hotel Sol y Luna

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

  • Day 4 - Travel to Machu Picchu

    • Journey to Machu Picchu, with an early morning train through the cloud forest and then tourist bus up to the enigmatic ruins. Enjoy a day at the Machu Picchu ruins with your private guide.

    • Overnight at Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 5 - Explore Machu Picchu

    • Enjoy a late check-out at the hotel today, and then the full day at leisure to explore some exciting hikes at the Machu Picchu citadel.

    • Late afternoon take train back to Cusco. Pre-dinner cocktails and a four-course meal will be served onboard and accompanied by Andean musical entertainment.

    • Overnight at Hotel Belmond Monasterio

  • Day 6- Explore Cusco

    • Enjoy a private guided walking tour of Cusco today. Follow narrow streets filled with Inca stonework to sites like the Temple of the Sun, the Plaza de Armas and La Merced or San Francisco cathedrals.

    • Overnight at Hotel Belmond Monasterio

    • Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 7 - Flight From Cusco to Guayaquil via Lima.

    • After breakfast this morning, you will be driven to the airport in Cusco in time to catch your flight to Guayaquil via Lima. Check-in assistance provided.

    • Flight Duration Cusco to Lima: approximately 1H 15M

    • Flight Duration Lima to Guayaquil: 2Hs 20M

    • You’ll arrive at Guayaquil airport, where you will be greeted by your guide and taken to your hotel.

    • Overnight at Hotel Oro Verde

    • Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 8 - Flight From Guayaquil to Galapagos to Begin Galapagos Cruise

    • After breakfast transfer to the airport today and assistance with check-in procedures for your flight to the Galapagos Islands.

    • Flight Duration: approximately 1H 30M

    • Upon arrival you’ll be met by guides from the yacht and transferred to the dock, where you’ll board the boat and begin your cruise itinerary. (La Pinta yacht or Isabella II yacht). Note: Only possible to start cruise on Mondays or Wednesdays.

    • Overnight aboard luxury yacht

    • Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 9 - Explore Galapagos.

    • Activities include snorkeling with sea lion pups and tropical fish, watching the blue-footed booby perform its comical mating dance, admiring the majesty of the waved albatross, marveling at the sheer size of the giant land tortoise, and more!

  • Day 10 - Explore Galapagos.

  • Day 13 - Farewell Ecuador!
