Pre-Designed Journey

An itinerary that showcases the essential highlights of a destination. This is an expertly crafted pre-planned itinerary, that reflects the local spirit and provides an authentic experience.

After overnighting in Lima's airport hotel for easier logistics, fly to the southern Peruvian Amazon, accessed from Puerto Maldonado, and enjoy a mix of kid-friendly activities in the jungle from your lodge. Spend your time exploring the Amazon through jungle walks, wildlife observation, canoe rides, piranha fishing, and nocturnal excursions.

Afterwards, head to Cusco, from where you will spend several nights in the Sacred Valley. At a lower altitude than Cusco, the Sacred Valley is filled with opportunities for family adventures including archaeological ruins, villages and colorful markets, as well as the chance for activities like horseback riding on Peruvian Paso horses, learning traditional weaving techniques, river rafting and mountain biking.

From here, you will take the train to Machu Picchu, disembarking early for the One-Day Inca Trail Hike to experience part of the infamous Inca Trail and arrive at the citadel's Sun Gate. The one day hike is easy enough for children, unlike the longer multi-day trek. Explore Machu Picchu with your private guide the following day. End your trip in Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire, where you'll have a chance to explore the famed Temple of the Sun and enormous ruins outside the city.
