This itinerary is designed for families interested in a well-rounded trip to Panama to experience the country's cultural, historical and natural highlights.

The journey begins and ends in the energized capital of Panama City, with its juxtaposition of colonial heritage and international commerce and an impressive tourism infrastructure. From there, visit a welcoming indigenous community and explore Fort San Lorenzo and the astounding locks on the Panama Canal.

Then continue north to the verdant and tranquil mountains of Panama's Chiriqui Highlands to sample Panamanian coffee, hike through the biologically rich cloud forest, and enjoy other adventures from the sunny, mountain town of Boquete.

Continue to the stunning Bocas del Toro archipelago, using an eco-lodge built over water as a base for kayaking and snorkeling from isolated beaches on the Caribbean coast of Panama.

  • Day 1- Welcome to Panama! - Panama City

    • Arrival to Panama City and private transfer to hotel. Right after exiting customs at the airport, our representative will meet you and privately transfer you to your hotel.

    • Overnight at Bristol Hotel.

    • Meals: None

  • Day 2 Embera Native Experience - Panama City

    • Discover the magic of the Embera tribe on this special journey. This adventure begins driving deep into the Panamanian jungle from where you will take an Embera canoe and sail down the Chagres River. You will have the opportunity to learn and interact with the Embera natives, their music, traditions and typical dances. Experience the lush flora and fauna of this virgin rainforest and enjoy a typical native lunch with the catch of the day.

  • Eco Tour on Gatun Lake, Canal Visit & Fly to Boquete

    • Gatun Lake is a large artificial lake to the south of Colon, Panama. It forms a major part of the Panama Canal, carrying ships for 33 km (21 mi) of their transit across the Isthmus of Panama. After your visit to the Canal, you will be dropped off at the domestic airport for your flight to David. Upon arriving in David our staff will welcome you for your private transfer to your Hotel.

  • Day 4 Coffee Tour & Zip Line Adventure - Boquete

    • This morning, visit a working coffee plantation and see the entire process from tree to cup and even roast your own cup of Geisha Coffee! Afterwards, you will have an authentic local lunch before the next unique experience. Fly high above the canopy of a beautiful forest on an amazing 2.17-mile zip-line adventure!

    • Overnight at Panamonte Inn.

  • Day 5 - Whitewater Rafting - Boquete

    • Experience this heart-pumping adventure filled with rapids and bumps, accompanied by trained bilingual guides and top-quality equipment for your comfort and safety. For rafters of all experience, enjoy the Rio Chiriqui, with classic Class III rapids run that offers only super-fun whitewater!

    • Overnight at Panamonte Inn

  • Day 6 -Transfer to Tranquilo Bay in Bocas del Toro

    • Today you will take a four-hour scenic ride from Boquete to Almirante. Once in Almirante you will board Tranquilo Bay’s boat for a private transfer to Bastimentos Island where you will be spending 4 nights.

    • Overnight at Tranquilo Bay.

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 7 - Enjoy Activities at Tranquilo Bay

    • Activities included in this package are: beach trips, birding tours, fishing (as part of another excursion), snorkeling, jungle hiking, kayaking, surfing, and more.

    • Overnight at Tranquilo Bay.

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 8 - Enjoy Activities at Tranquilo bay

    • Activities included in this package are: beach trips, birding tours, fishing (as part of another excursion), snorkeling, jungle hiking, kayaking, surfing, and more.

  • Day 9 - Departure from Bocas del Toro to Panama City

    • Make the best out of your last day with the variety of activities Tranquilo Bay has to offer before departing to Panama City. Upon arriving in Panama City, you will meet our driver who will transfer you to the hotel for your last night in Panama.

  • Day 10 - Farewell  Panama!

    • You will take a private transfer from your Hotel to the Tocumen International Airport for your departure.
