Day 1 – Welcome to Santiago

International flight from your home city to Santiago, Chile. Airport reception upon arrival, and assistance with luggage collection and transfer to your hotel, located in the upscale residential district, Providencia. Because many flights arrive in the early morning to Santiago, we’ll arrange for early check-in. This afternoon you’ll enjoy a city tour of Santiago’s highlights, from museums & monuments, to lush parks in the center of this bustling financial capital.

Days 2 – Santiago to Atacama Desert

Airport transfer for flight to Calama, where you’ll be transferred to San Pedro de Atacama (one hour). There are several accommodation options in San Pedro, ranging from more budget friendly to luxury hotels with private guides. You’ll have a four or five day stay in the Atacama, with activities like intense hiking for the serious trekker, visits to volcanoes, salt lakes and enchanting landscapes, and explorations.

Days 2- 5 – Atacama Desert Adventures

During your stay in the Atacama Desert you’ll have excursions, led by a private guide, to the surrounding areas. The region is perfect for more active travelers, with activities like hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy the stunning landscapes, bathe in high altitude thermal springs, and visit local villages.

In the evenings, relax in one of the many outdoor spaces or at the pool.

Day 5 – Atacama to Santiago

Transfer to the airport today for your flight to Santiago. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Providencia. Afternoon at leisure.This evening, enjoy a Pisco tasting, where you’ll sample various vintages of this most Chilean of liquors, and the base for the famous Pisco Sour.

 Day 6 – Santiago to Torres del Paine

Assistance this morning with the check-in for your flight to the most southern city in Chile, Punta Arenas. Here you’ll have a five-hour transfer through the ever-changing Patagonian landscape, to the very border of Torres del Paine National Park.

Your lodge is nestled in the forest, and overlooking the clear waters of Lake Toro. Each room is a luxury yurt, for an amazing, unique “camping” experience.

Day 6 – 10 – Torres del Paine Adventures

You’ll have a five day, all-inclusive stay at Patagonia Camp, with daily excursions into the Torres del Paine National Park. Located just 15 minutes from the border of the park, and 30-45 minutes from all major park sites, Patagonia Camp has an ideal setting.

Excursions are on a small group basis, of no more than eight guests, and led by specialty outdoor adventure guides. You can enjoy half or full-day hikes throughout the park, based on your activity level, daily weather, and interests.

In the evenings, relax in the main lodge, overlooking the lake, and enjoy Patagonian specialties accompanied by Chilean vintages.

Day 10 – To Santiago
Transfer to Punta Arenas and short city tour to lookout point over city, Straits of Magellan and graveyard, before flight to Santiago and transfer to hotel.

Day 11 – Santiago to Easter Island

Assistance this morning with the check-in for your flight to the most western region of Chile – Easter Island. Also known as Rapa Nui, this small island was the site of a major Polynesian culture in past centuries.

You’ll have a four day stay here, with a mixture of relaxation on the beautiful, palm-tree lined beaches, and adventures around the island.

Days 11-14 – Easter Island Adventures

Spend four days on Easter Island, with activities like horseback riding to Terevaka Mount for panoramic island views, visiting various ahus to see imposing moai statues, traveling to nearby islets to learn more about local culture and traditions, and enjoying time to relax on the beautiful coastlines. Excursions are on a small group basis of no more than eight guests, and led by expert local guides. You’ll have the option each day of a variety of half and full-day excursions to choose from, based on your interests.

Day 14 – Easter Island to Santiago
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Santiago where you’ll connect with your international flight home.

Day 15 –  Santiago to Home

This morning you’ll have a late check-out at the hotel, and the chance to stroll one last time through the tree-lined, bohemian Bellavista neighborhood.
