Peru pleases visitors at every stop with its fascinating history, colorful local culture, and superlative culinary scene. Peru has something for everyone: from the beautiful former capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco to depths of the Amazon jungle, and from the mountains, valleys and archaeological ruins of the Sacred Valley, to the greatest Inca archaeological masterpiece of all: Machu Picchu. Like everywhere in Peru, this is a great place for nature lovers to revel in the exotic and abundant wildlife on guided treks through the jungle. In fact, this virgin corner of our world remains not only unspoiled but also largely unexplored. We recommend this particular program to families and couples looking to combine a cultural icon with one of the richest nature experiences on the planet, all in one trip.
